The Portuguese of 'REQUIEM LAUS' signs their first opus on the label ' 666 Production '. Baptized 'The Eternal Plague', this new album will stand out as an example of devastating determination, stressed by a hard-hitting sound which destroy throughout the album on a regular tempo. The group becomes almost oppressive and give the effect of a buldozer which crushes everything on the passage. The gutural singing imposes everything upon the length on a tone monocord accompanied by rhythmic impressive and destructive guitars. We perceive a regular snore of rhythmic bass which has an important role in the general ambience of this album. Some soloes and tablecloths of synthesizer bring all the same a part of melody to the group and we are entitled to some interludes accoustiques well controlled and remarkable which contrast with him. 'REQUIEM LAUS' is a group of rough death which looks like in no other one. The band is extremely rough but what is strange, it is that we shall find almost no blast and fast rhythm in this album. Everything is based on the sound and the way of the drummer to play with toms. it is squared effective and hard-hitting. This album is already for me an inescapable of the extreme scene.

Here is the group which was at the moment even unknown. Nevertheless, ' lord shades ' is a group typical from us (France). This first autoproduced album is entitled-' the downfall of fire enmek ' .The presentation of the album could let believe that the group is directed ' metal Viking '. And indeed not, the young group plays in a
style rather black / death atmospherik influenced by the médieval fantastic subject. The album consists of 8 titles for a total duration of about fifty minutes. In general the sound is good to see even very good for an autoproduction. The medieval ambience looked for by the group is perfectly reproduced and remains present throughout the album. Composition are fluid and eccentric for this style already very developed nowadays.
This originality is probably bound to the means of orchestration used by the band,Such as traditional instruments, percussions, flute, accordion and keyboards which bring a fantastic dimension to all the compositions. Here is the very promising and very inspired group which does not wait more than the gratitude of a label as high as their ambitions. In the meantime, already savor this first promising album which waits only to be listened to.

Do you know the glory of Death metal in Europa since 1990 ? Remind of Malevolent Creation, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death and many more…This time it is called “Tales of Blood”, and it is made in France. Five tracks of typical death metal with gore elements. Listen to the lyrics to be sure of that: “Carved in the bath”, “Skinned alive”, “Perforate, gut, punch!”…gore influences give the pitch to the whole. Do you like it ? Everything is ok with the sound, production, mix, mastering, you know ! But don’t expect something original and new there. This opus is for death “gore” metal addicts only because it’s just another death metal stuff among thousand death metal stuffs. I know they played with Morbid Angel at La Loco in France and played other gigs elsewhere. Maybe they know how to convince on stage. I don’t know. But this stuff is too much typical and also too much linear in my opinion. That’s too bad because the sound and the play are very good. Listen to them with their “myspace” page and let me know if I’m right or wrong.

Band: Black Dementia

Another release from the French Aura Mystique label. “Dictum of Negation” has many good qualities because Black Dementia know how to mix black metal with thrash metal influences without turning into a usual and boring stuff. Thus, this opus is as bewitching as powerful and varied enough too even if it does not avoid black metal stock phrases such as “666 extolled” or “See the signs of decline”, also “Death is the sentence that I give to this dull decaying world”. Therefore, lyrics of “Dictum of Negation” are not very creative in my opinion contrary to its music which is fine and strengthed by hammered rhythms mixed with strong melodies. It makes the whole coherent and attractive. Moreover faultless production and professional mastering enhance the whole. At last, the opus ends with a song originally performed by Profane and it is called “Le chemin des ténèbres”. Thus, I recommend this stuff to all of you metal addicts when you’re able to listen to a new powerful band with an asserted identity. Black Dementia comes from France and its is much talked about.

Band : Cubensis
Title: Metaphysical Impact

For some months already, circulated a mini cd 3 titles of this new formation of thrash core entitled already very promising "Cubensis" on this explosive sample... But nothing surprising because Cubensis hides some surprises, among others the return of "Crass", charismatic singer of the group of death thrash French " Crusher " disappeared from the scene in the middle of the 90s.
We cannot say that Cubensis is the continuity of Crusher in spite of the presence of the leader singer. Crusher died well and truly and Crass decided to express himself in a more directed register " Thrash core " than death metal. Thus let us forget Crusher and let us dedicate maintaining us to Cubensis... The album is as high as the sampling proposed on mini Cd, it is same even more hard-hitting and brutal, the titles are marvelously linked and every piece is very different because every riff is minutely worked. Composition leaves has Crass of vocal possibilities and this last one does not go without it.
He crosses in a voice(vote) roque has a singing(song) chorus mastered uninhibitedly.
We notice here one qualities vocal unsuspected at this singer, seen the result one understands(includes) why he(it) was necessary for him to return on scene(stage) with a more opened style has his(her, its) vocal competances. The singing(song) is variable according to the title: clear voices(votes), singing(song) chorus, and trash core voice(vote), with all the same a back taste of influences of the style: machine head, Rough thruth, Napalm death or " extreme noise terror ". On this album we feel(smell) a certain maturity and especially a professionalism on behalf of the musicians who are apparently ready for the scene(stage). There is probably their first purpose: " to conquer the public by the scene(stage) " and it is promising. What we shall hold(retain) of this album it is the singing(song) which cannot leave indifferent and the type of rhythmic very particular which brings a new kind(genre) to conventional Thrashcore.
